Richshell

Richshell was born and raised in Metairie, LA. She was blessed with a compassionate heart, listening ears and healing hands to care for others as her divine calling. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, specialized in Women’s Health and a Registered Nurse for over a decade. She graduated from East Jefferson High School in Metairie, LA. Richshell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University (2009). She then transitioned into an accelerated nursing program at Our Lady of the Lake College in which she received an Associate of Science in Nursing degree (2010). Richshell went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Our Lady of the Lake College (2013). She then enrolled in the Master and Doctoral programs concurrently at the University of South Alabama and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree (December 2016) and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (June 2017). She has been intentional about serving the underserved/minority populations of Baton Rouge and New Orleans as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. “To help someone along the way; that is to have succeed” is her favorite self-quote and daily mission. She is passionate about educating, empowering, and inspiring women to live their dreams through persistent effort and consistent work.
